Brentford return to Kenilworth Road for the first time since 25 November 2008, when Andy Scott’s team secured a 1-0 victory in our League Two Championship winning season. The match has been arranged due to Andre Gray’s transfer from the Bedfordshire club last summer.

The Hatters finished eighth in their first season back in the Football League, and as one of the better supported sides in that tier, will hope to finish higher up the league in this forthcoming campaign.

The summer transfer activity by manager John Still can be described as busy, with ten new signings and 16 players leaving. Striker Mark Cullen has left for League One Blackpool for £180,000, after 21 goals in 71 league matches.
20-year-old Lee Angol, who did not make a Luton First Team appearance following his arrival from Wycombe Wanderers, moved to Peterborough United this summer after scoring 25 goals on loan at Boreham Wood last season, finishing as the Conference South’s top scorer.
