Brentford start their UK pre-season friendly schedule on Sunday against Boreham Wood (kick-off 3pm) at Meadow Park. The Hertfordshire side were promoted to the National League for the 2015/16 season after winning promotion via the Play-Offs in 2014/15.
Boreham Wood manager, former Arsenal defender Ian Allinson, has signed Preston Edwards, Scott Doe, Billy Clifford, and Luke Howell, as they begin life in the National League for the first time in their history.
Also arriving at Meadow Park this summer is ex-Brentford striker Charlie MacDonald. The 34-year-old made 30 National League appearances for Barnet, scoring eight goals last season as they won promotion to the Football League for the third time.
It is expected that most of Brentford’s First Team squad will take part in the game. Admission prices for Sunday’s game are as follows:
