Brentford Manager Mark Warburton said he was looking forward to a series of “exciting challenges” presented by the Sky Bet Championship fixture list.
The Bees were promoted from League One in April and will be playing in the second tier for the first time in 21 years in 2014/15.
The fixtures for the upcoming season were released yesterday and The Bees will start at home to Charlton Athletic on Saturday August 9.
They will then travel to AFC Bournemouth and Blackpool before facing Birmingham City at Griffin Park on August 23.
Mark said: “It is tremendous for all at the club to start the new Championship season with an exciting London derby.
“Ever since the promotion was confirmed, all eyes have been eagerly awaiting the release of the full fixture list and we can now see the details of the many exciting challenges that we will face in the months ahead.
“Such fixtures provide the opportunity for the players to show their full potential and I have no doubts that they will both embrace Championship football and ensure that our supporters enjoy a memorable 2014/15 season.”
