Brentford Manager Mark Warburton said he felt his team could put on a good show against Norwich City, one of the pre-season promotion favourites.
Norwich came down from the Premier League at the end of last season and will be at Griffin Park tomorrow, Tuesday September 16, for a match that will kick off at 7.45pm.
Norwich are second in the table after six games and Mark said there was no doubting the talent of the side his team would face.
But he said team unity would play a factor and The Bees could win the battles.
“Norwich City have a very talented squad of players,” said Mark.
“They have played at Premier League level as individuals.
“But we speak about winning the one-on-one battles and sometimes you can find yourself up against a Premier League player.
“That is when the unity comes in.
“You may lose one-on-one but with two or three around you, we think we can win the battle.
“This group has a great work ethic.
“We believe we can give a good show.”
Moses Odubajo said Brentford would show Norwich respect and it would be a test for The Bees.
“Norwich are a physical team with Premier League quality,” said the winger.
“It will be a big test.
“We have to give them respect, they have just come down.
“They have very good players.
“It will be another good test for us.”
Norwich boss Neil Adams, speaking to the media last week, said his team would not want anything less than six points from games away to Cardiff City and Brentford.
Norwich won 4-2 win at Cardiff on Saturday to climb to second in the league.
Jake Bidwell said Norwich coming to Griffin Park with only victory in mind would spur Brentford on.
“They clearly fancy their chances, judging by their manager’s comments,” said the left back.
“We weren’t the favourites on Saturday but it is up to us to upset them.
“We don’t need any extra motivation but we’ll take it if it is handed to us.
“We will use it to our advantage.
“The fans will be looking forward to it.
“It will be another good test.
“We have shown we can compete with anyone and I am sure we will do the same on Tuesday night.”
