Marcello Trotta said Brentford’s players were disappointed with their 2-2 draw with Bury.
The Bees looked set to win as they lead twice at Griffin Park but the visitors scored twice on the break to take a share of the spoils.
Marcello said Brentford player well and had plenty of chances.
They went in 0-0 at half time despite dominating completely but Harry Forrester headed The Bees in front early in the second half.
Bury equalised but Marcello scored a second soon after only for the visitors to equalise again.
“We are a little bit disappointed,” said the striker.
“We had so many chances and we had the game under control for most of the time.
“We played very well.
“In the first half we had three or four clear chances to score.
“We had a lot of the ball, that was good.
“When we got the goal we seemed to step off a little and gave them more space.
“We gave them nothing before that.
“I had chances and should have taken them, sometimes it goes like this.
“We have to keep working.”
Brentford’s next game is against Stevenage at Griffin Park on Tuesday and Marcello said the players were positive they could start winning again.
The Bees are sixth in npower League One, five points off the top of the table with a game in hand on most of the teams above them.
“We have another game on Tuesday night, we have to do our best in that game,” said Marcello.
“We are very positive.
“We have to forget this and think about Stevenage.
“With three points we are right up there again.
“It is very tight, we want to get up there and stay up there.
“We have to accept things happen sometimes, we have to put it right.”
