Brentford midfield player Adam Forshaw has been voted as the best young player in npower League one by Match of the Day magazine.
The official magazine of the Saturday night TV Premier League highlights programme announced its end-of-season prizes in its latest issue, which is in the shops now.
The best player in each division was selected by the magazine’s editorial team and there were also prizes for the best young player in each league, top manager and the team of the season.
Adam was named as the best young player in League One and was also selected in the best XI from the division.
Eddie Howe, of AFC Bournemouth, was named as the division’s best manager while David Cotterill, from Doncaster Rovers, took the ‘Player of the Year, League One’ prize.
