The top European leagues take a break from action this weekend with the latest round of International fixtures around the globe, so we thought we'd catch up with how Jota and Andy Gogia have been doing out on loan in recent weeks.
It's been a fine month for Andy and Dynamo Dresden in the 2. Bundesliga with the winger finding the net four times in four unbeaten league games for his new side. The month started with Andy netting twice in a 5-0 win at home to VFB Stuttgart and he bookended that latest spell of games with another brace in a 3-0 win at Fortuna Dusseldorf last weekend. The 24-year-old also contributed one assist as Dresden took ten points from four matches to move up to eighth in the table. The only negative for Dynamo was a second round exit in the German Cup to Arminia Bielefeld, a game Andy also started. In total, Andy has now featured 11 times, ten as a starter, and scored five goals since his temporary switch back to Germany.
The last four matches have seen 20 minutes action for Jota at Eibar as the Basque side continue to flirt with the European places in La Liga. Jota's only minutes in October came as a late substitute in the 3-2 defeat to Osasuna with the 25 year old not named in the squad for Eibar's last three games against Espanyol, Villarreal, and Las Palmas. Jota has made four appearances in total for Eibar this season, three from the start, as they currently occupy eighth place in La Liga.
