Will Grigg scored his fifth goal in eight appearances for the MK Dons in their 6-1 win over Crewe Alexandra at Stadium:MK on Saturday.
The 23-year-old, on a season-long loan from Griffin Park, got the final touch to turn Dean Bowditch's cross home from close range to put The Dons 2-1 ahead on the quarter hour.
MK had taken the lead through Dele Alli after three minutes but a Kyle McFadzean own-goal levelled things four minutes later.
Karl Robinson's side added further goals as Alli completed his hat-trick and Benik Afobe and Ben Reeves also got on the score-sheet.
The result leaves The Dons second in the table, five points behind leaders Bristol City, ahead of tomorrow night's Capital One Cup Third Round tie against Bradford City.
Also in action on Saturday was Alfie Mawson as he helped Wycombe Wanderers to a point away at Portsmouth.
The Chairboys took the lead through another former Bee in Sam Wood five minutes after half-time.
However the hosts did get a leveller 20 minutes from time as Johannes Ertl fired home from 10 yards to secure a draw.
Alfie has played every minute of the league season for Wycombe this campaign as Gareth Ainsworth's side sit third in the table, two points behind leaders Bury.
Next up for Wanderers is a home game against Cambridge United next Saturday.
Josh Clarke is also on loan in Sky Bet League Two at Dagenham and Redbridge but injury meant he was not involved in their 1-1 draw with Cheltenham on Saturday.
