Will Grigg scored his sixth goal of the season to help secure a 2-0 win for MK Dons away at Yeovil Town which moved MK up to fourth in Sky Bet League One.
The Northern-Irish striker struck the opening goal at Huish Park as he coolly found the bottom corner from the right-hand edge of the penalty area with 20 minutes to go.
Daniel Powell added a second for Karl Robinson's side with five minutes to go before Will was withdrawn with two minutes of the 90 remaining.
The win was MK's sixth in eight games in all competitions and leaves them just two points off the automatic promotions spots in League One.
Next up for The Dons is a Johnstone's Paint Trophy derby against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night however Will won't be involved as he joins up with the Northern Ireland squad ahead of their Euro 2016 Qualifiers against Faroe Islands and Greece.
Also in action on Saturday was Alfie Mawson as Wycombe Wanderers extended their unbeaten run to eight league games with a 1-1 draw at home to Northampton Town.
It looked as though The Cobblers would secure all three points as they led going into injury time thanks to Ryan Cresswell's header.
However Aaron Holloway headed home in injury time to secure the point which keeps Wycombe in the automatic promotion spots ahead of next Saturday's trip to Morecombe.
Alfie has played every minute of Wycombe's league campaign so far making 11 appearances for The Chairboys.
