Luke Norris made his debut for Boreham Wood on Saturday.
The 19-year-old Development Squad striker joined the Blue Square Bet South club on Friday on a loan deal until January 3.
He came on as a 65th minute substitute for the Hertfordshire side in their 0-0 draw with Truro City.
The striker came within a whisker of scoring the winning goal but he was denied by a superb save from Truro goalkeeper Luke McCormick.
The point lifted Boreham Wood to fourth in the Blue Square Bet South table and they have games in hand on those above them.
They travel to Farnborough, who are fifth in the table, next Saturday.
