Josh Clarke played the majority of the match as Barnet extended their good run of recent form to one defeat in seven matches after a 0-0 draw at home to Morecambe. The 21-year-old midfielder started the match for Martin Allen's side and could have given them all three points but his late shot was deflected behind for a corner. The point leaves The Bees 17th in Sky Bet League Two with 21 points from their 18 matches. The match was Josh's sixth of his loan spell at The Hive where he has scored three goals.
Elsewhere Mark Smith endured frustration for the second-time in four days as Hampton and Richmond Borough's match away at Brentwood was postponed due a waterlogged pitch. Both Mark and Josh will hope to be in action this evening as Barnet travel to Notts County in Sky Bet League Two and Hampton and Richmond Borough travel to Hayes and Yeading in the Middlesex Charity Cup.
