Jermaine Udumaga was an unused substitute as Wycombe Wanderers exited the Emirates FA Cup after a 2-0 defeat to Premier League side Aston Villa in their Third Round replay last night. It looked for a long time like Gareth Ainsworth's side might be on course to create a cup shock but Villa struck twice in the final quarter of an hour, through Ciaran Clark and Idrissa Gueye, to set up a Fourth Round tie with Manchester City. The Chairboys get back to their Sky Bet League Two promotion push this Saturday when they host Leyton Orient at Adams Park. Jermaine has made three substitute appearances for Wycombe since joining the Buckinghamshire side in November.
Jota was not in the 18 man squad as SD Eibar thumped Granada 5-1 on Monday night to keep pace with the European qualifying places in La Liga. Borja Baston and Sergi Enrich both netted twice, with Takashi Inui scoring the other, as Eibar made it four straight league wins to remain sixth in the Spanish top flight.
