Gradi Milenge helped to keep a clean sheet in only his second game of men's football as Farnborough defeated Maidenhead United 1-0 at Paddy Power Park on Tuesday night.
The 18-year-old, who joined Boro last Friday, started his second match in 48 hours following Saturday's 2-2 draw between the two sides in the original tie.
Boro settled the match late on as Louie Theophanous drilled home from the edge of the box to set up a Third Round tie at home to North Ferriby United.
The defender will be hoping for a similar outcome on Saturday when Farnborough visit Hemel Hempstead in the Conference South.
Gradi was the only Brentford loanee in action this midweek but there is a full fixture list for Brentford's players out and about this weekend.
Will Grigg and MK Dons host high-flying Sheffield United while Alfie Mawson and Courtney Senior travel to Bury with Wycombe Wanderers.
Lincoln City are the hosts for Manny Oyeleke's Aldershot while Kieran Morris and Mark Smith have home games against Grantham Town and Harrow for Stourbridge and Hampton & Richmond Borough respectively.
