THE GROUND

Bramall Lane started life as a cricket ground and was also home to Sheffield Wednesday before Sheffield United were formed in 1889.
The 32,702 stadium has been all-seater since 1994 and is the biggest in League One.
Visiting supporters are usually housed in the lower tier of the Bramall Lane Stand and there is room for nearly 3,000 away fans.
THE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Bramall Lane is approximately 161 miles from Griffin Park by road.
Most drivers will head to the ground from the M1 - from junction 29 drivers should take the A617 towards Chesterfield and then the A61, Bramall Lane is to the south of the city centre close to the A61.
Drivers can also leave at junction 33 and take the A630 to the city centre, then the A57 and A61 to meet the A621, Bramall Lane.
There is no specific parking at the ground so drivers will have to park in nearby roads or private car parks.
The nearest station is Sheffield, which is less than a mile from Bramall Lane.
Supporters can also catch the Sheffield Supertram from Sheffield station to Granville Road, which is slightly nearer.
Sheffield station is served by East Midlands Trains, from St Pancras.
The Supporters' Association will be running coaches to every game this season - details of times and prices will be announced in due course.
THE RECENT HISTORY
Sheffield United will be looking to erase the heartache of losing in the League One play-off final to Huddersfield Town at Wembley in May.
They had looked strong favourites for promotion towards the end of the season but finished third, behind rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
Given their stadium and resources, the second season in League One will still feel unfamiliar to Blades fans, having graced the Premiership only five years ago.
They were in the top flight between 1990 and 1994 and reached the play-offs three times, losing two finals, before they won their way back in to the Premier League in 2006.
But they came straight back down a year later, on goal difference after losing on the final day of the season to Wigan Athletic.
United subsequently sued West Ham United as The Hammers had stayed up due to not being deducted points when breaching rules over the signings of Carlos Tévez and Javier Mascherano and reached a financial settlement with the London club.
On the pitch, United lost the Championship Play-Off Final in 2009 and narrowly missed out on the top six on two other occasions.
United are now favourites with bookmakers Coral to win League One, priced at 11/2.
THE MANAGER
Danny Wilson was appointed Sheffield United manager last summer, a move that prompted protests outside Bramall Lane.
The 51-year-old former Northern Ireland international played nearly 100 Football League games for United's rivals Sheffield Wednesday during a playing career that spanned nearly 20 years.
He is one of the most experienced managers around now, having taken Barnsley in to the Premier League in 1997 and also managed Bristol City and Milton Keynes Dons among others, as well as having a spell as Wednesday boss.
He took Swindon Town to the League One Play-Off Final in 2010, where they lost to Millwall, but left his position in March with The Robins heading for relegation.
THE TOP SCORER
Striker Ched Evans scored twenty-nine goals in League One for Sheffield United last season.
He came through Manchester City's academy and made 26 appearances for The Citizens before he was signed by Sheffield United in the summer of 2009.
Ched was convicted of rape in April this year and given a five-year jail term, which prompted the club to release him in May.
THE KEY MEN
Danny Wilson has not made a single signing so far this summer, with United looking to trim their wage bill as they adjust to a second season in League One.
This month, Scottish under-21 international John Fleck opted to move to Coventry City from Rangers ahead of The Blades.
He released Jack Adams, James Beattie, Connor Brown, Seamus Conneely, Johnny Ertl , Ched Evans, Corey Gregory, Shane Murray, Steve Simonsen, Andy Taylor, and Marc Warren.
Midfield duo Kevin McDonald and Lee Williamson are out of contract, together with striker Chris Porter and Wilson is waiting to hear if they have accepted the club's offer of a new deal.
Veteran defender Chris Morgan is on the verge on retiring with Wilson wanting him to stay at the club in a coaching capacity.
26-year-old Stephen Quinn missed only one match in United's 2011/2012 campaign.
The former Republic of Ireland under-21 international midfielder scored five goals, four of them in League One.
His fellow countryman Michael Doyle made 43 appearances last season.
The Republic of Ireland international moved to Bramall Lane in the January 2011 transfer window form Coventry City where he spent nearly eight years, appearing in over 300 first team games for The Sky Blues.
