More than 600 guests have already booked their places at the star-studded dinner that will mark a special Brentford anniversary and there are just a few hours left to join them.
The Brentford Football Club 125 Year Anniversary Dinner will be held at The Hurlingham Club next Thursday, November 20.
All profit raised on the night will go to Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust, a charitable trust supported by the Club which provides sport, education and career opportunities in the area.
The dinner is set to be the biggest in the Club’s history and had to be held in a venue away from Brentford to cater for all those who wanted to attend.
Today, Friday November 14, is the last day for bookings for the event and anyone who wants to attend should book by 5pm.
The event will be hosted by Brentford fan Natalie Sawyer, one of the best known faces on Sky Sports News HQ and a regular presenter of Sky’s Football League coverage, and the Club will be joined by a cast of special guests.
England Manager Roy Hodgson, FA Independent Chairman Greg Dyke and Football League Chairman Greg Clarke will be in attendance as will key political figures and business leaders from the local community.
Former Brentford star – and now one of the best known faces on Sky Sports – Chris Kamara has confirmed he will be there on the evening and will talk about his “unbelievable” life on Sky’s Soccer Saturday programme.
Coronation Street star Bradley Walsh, who was on the books at Brentford in the late 1970s and early 1980s without playing a First Team match, will also be present and there is also a long list of Brentford legends coming to mark the special anniversary.
Bob Booker, Terry Evans, Peter Gelson, Jackie Graham, Alan Hawley, Keith Millen, Alan Nelmes, Bobby Ross and Danis Salman will be there and the Club will be inducting new members of the Hall of Fame.
An auction to pick up some special Brentford FC and sporting memorabilia, with all profits going to the Trust, will be held and the lots can be seen here for those who want to bid in advance.
There will be a drinks reception from 6.30pm with a three-course meal, with wine, served at 7.15pm.
Tickets will cost £125 per person, £1,000 for a table of eight or £1,250 for a table of ten.
