Lasse Vibe's Olympic Games came to an end last night as Denmark were beaten 2-0 by Nigeria in the Quarter-Finals of the Football tournament in Rio De Janeiro.
Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel opened the scoring on the quarter hour and The Super Eagles booked their place in the final four when Aminu Umar headed home from a Mikel corner on the hour.
Lasse had captained his side to the Quarter-Finals after they finished second in their group following a draw with Iraq, victory over South Africa, and a defeat to hosts Brazil. Nigeria will now face Germany in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
