Lasse Vibe has been recognised by the Football League for his performance in The Bees 3-1 win over Bolton Wanderers last night.
The Danish striker scored twice as Dean Smith's side made it six goals and six points in four days, following up Saturday's 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest with success against Bolton. The Bees took the game to the league's bottom side from the off and deservedly led after 17 minutes, Nico Yennaris firing home from close range. Lasse made it 2-0 shortly after with a composed finish and, when he headed home a third on the half-hour a rout looked on the cards. However Bolton rallied after the break and pulled one back from the spot with 20 minutes to play.
The two goals in the 3-1 win saw Lasse named in the Football League Team of the Midweek. The team, published on the Football League website, is drawn from the performances over the previous night's action in all Sky Bet Football League divisions.

Lasse is the fourth Brentford player to be named in the Football League selection this season. James Tarkowski was included following the 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town on the opening day while Alan Judge's brace against Rotherham United in October and John Swift's double against Wolverhampton Wanderers in February saw them both included.
