The Danes went into their game last night knowing that they would qualify, regardless of the result against the home nation, so long as the match between South Africa and Iraq finished in a draw.
Gabriel Barbosa scored either side of strikes by Gabriel Jesus and Luan to wrap up a convincing win for the home nation, who topped Group A, but the 1-1 draw between South Africa and Iraq ensured Neils Frederiksen's men made it through in second place.
Denmark's Quarter-Final against Group B winners Nigeria will take place at 8pm on Saturday evening with the winners then facing Portugal or Germany for a place in the final.
