Brentford Development Squad defender Kieran Morris has extended his loan spell at Stourbridge for a further month.
The 19-year-old joined the Evo-Stick Northern Premier League side in December and his loan was due to expire today, Tuesday January 6.
It has now been extended until February 8.
Kieran has played six times for Stourbridge – they have won three of those games, drawn one and lost two.
One of those defeats was in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
Stourbridge have kept three clean sheets in Kieran’s six games.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford Academy Director, said: “This has been the first chance for Kieran to play First Team football and he has done well.
“Stourbridge were keen to keep him and we were happy for him to continue his development by playing more games at a good non-league level.
“We will be monitoring his progress over the next month to see how he gets on.”
Kieran had been on the books of Stourbridge at youth level before joining Brentford.
He signed a new one-year contract in the summer after originally joining The Bees in 2013.
The centre back played for England Schoolboys in the Under-18 Centenary Shield and England Colleges in 2012/13, as well as playing for Brentford at Youth Team and Development Squad level before making the permanent switch to West London.
Kieran played nine times for the Development Squad in 2013/14 and has added another nine Under-21 Professional Development League Two appearances this season, mostly as a substitute.
Stourbridge are tenth in the table having played fewer games than many of the teams above them.
