Jake Bidwell said Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler made it “hard to say no” to a return to Griffin Park.
The 19-year-old signed for The Bees yesterday on an initial one-month Youth Loan from Everton.
The England Under-19 international had previously been with The Bees last season, playing 25 games.
He said he thought his first spell at Griffin Park helped his game and he was looking forward to playing for The Bees again.
“I enjoyed my time here last year,” said Jake, speaking to Bees Player after signing the deal.
“I think it helped me a lot.
“Hopefully I can play more First Team games year and help Brentford achieve what we want to achieve.
“The Manager made it hard for me to say no, when someone shows that much interest in you, it gives you a lot of confidence.
“I want to repay that in the coming weeks.
“I’m looking forward to getting going.”
Jake said he felt he was fit and ready to play after pre-season at Everton but knew he would have to fight to win a place in the team.
“It was a normal pre-season,” he said.
“I feel like I’m fit.
“I know I will have to work hard for a place in the team.
“The squad is strong this year and hopefully we can go a step further than last year and make the Play-Offs.”
Jake was one of two players brought in by Manager Uwe Rösler this week, the other being midfield player Tom Adeyemi.
Tom told Bees Player he had recovered from an injury he picked up at the end of last season and was “raring to go”.
The midfield player was spotted by Uwe when playing for Oldham Athletic on loan from Norwich City last season.
He signed for The Bees from the Norfolk club on a six-month loan this week.
“I feel really good,” said Tom.
“My injuries have gone; I got a game under my belt for Norwich.
“I’m fully fit and raring to go.
“I was pleased with my season at Oldham and I did enough to catch the eye of Uwe and he wanted to bring me here.
“There are some really good players here and some really good young players here, which is good for a club that wants to move forward.”
Tom said he hoped he could help Brentford push for promotion from League One this season.
“I think of myself as a box-to-box midfielder,” he said.
“I’m athletic and I like to get around the pitch.
“Hopefully I can chip in with a few goals as well.
“On a personal level I want to do as well as I can and get as many games as I can.
“More importantly, hopefully the team can push for promotion.”
