Jack Bonham’s Emirates FA Cup run came to an end on Tuesday night as Sheffield Wednesday got the better of Carlisle United 2-0 in their Third-Round replay. Marco Mathias and Adthe Nuhiu netted either side of the break as the Sky Bet Championship Owls got the better of Keith Curle’s Cumbrians at Hillsborough to set up a Fourth-Round tie at home to Reading. For Carlisle it’s back to Sky Bet League Two action on Saturday with a trip to Stevenage.
