"It was obviously nice for me to lead the team out," said Nico. "It was a nice moment for me."I thought we controlled the game, we definitely had more possession. I just feel it was one of them where we didn't take our chances, we weren't clincal in the final third. We got caught on the break a few times and they had a few good chances but overall we dominated the game."Nico was introduced to league action after an hour last weekend, coming on as a sub to introduce something different to the midfield with Brentford a goal down away from home."The gaffer said I gave the team a bit more energy in the middle and got the team forward. It was a hot day, so it was quite dry and a bit slow out there. I just came on to try and help the team as I do."We worked hard all pre-season, had a good pre-season, it wasn't the way we wanted to start off but these things happen. It's about how we bounce back from it, we got a good win on Tuesday and now we focus on Saturday."Having played under Forest boss Mark Warburton, Nico recognises that the upcoming match will be a test for The Bees. "We know how the team are probably going to play, after having played under Warbs before. They like to play out from the back and I think all of his teams tend to do the same, so we know it will be a good footballing game. "I think as long as we turn up, do the right things and work together then I'm confident that this team can come away with a win."Saturday's game sees the squad return to Griffin Park for a first taste of league action since Sunday 7 May. "We obviously had a good game there in the last game of pre-season against Celta Vigo. I'm sure it will be a full house on Saturday, first game back, and it should be good."
