Brentford welcomed a team from Republic of Ireland’s Combined Counties Football League to West London last week.
Brentford’s Category Two Academy signed a ground-breaking alliance with the league last month.
Under the agreement there will be visits by Brentford FC Academy coaches to meet with CCFL players, coaches and officials as well as allowing CCFL elite players to visit West London.
The first trip took place over the Easter weekend.
The Irish group attended Brentford’s Sky Bet League One match against Preston North End, watching The Bees clinch promotion.
The elite youth squad also played The Bees in an Under-17 match.
Brentford took an early lead through Jeremiah Kamanzi but trailed 3-2 at half time to the Irish side.
The Bees levelled soon after the break when Audrius Laucys headed in and eventually won 8-4.
John Massala scored twice for Brentford and Brandon Henry got one with trialist Taban Makoii grabbing a hat-trick.
