Andreas Bjelland played the full match as Denmark got their 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign back on track with a 4-1 win over Kazakhstan last night.
The Danes went into the match in Copenhagen with just three points from their opening three games but took the lead against Group E's bottom side on the quarter hour thanks to Andreas Cornelius. The Kazakhs levelled two minutes later but Christian Eriksen's penalty ensure Denmark went in ahead at the break. It took until the final quarter of an hour before Åge Hareide's side wrapped the match up with strikes from Peter Ankersen and a second for Eriksen.
The result moved Denmark up to third in Group E, a point behind second-placed Montenegro, and a further three points behind group leaders Poland. Last night's appearance was Andreas' 22nd for his nation and first since July 2015. Next up for Denmark is a friendly against the Czech Republic in Mladá Boleslav on Wednesday night.
