Brentford's Youth Team recently took part in the IMG Boys Invitational Cup at the IMG Academy in Bradenton Florida.
Led by Jon De Souza The Bees came joint fifth in the prestigious Super Group competition at the tournament.
The Bees opened their campaign with a 3-0 reversal against Stevenage before securing a 1-0 win in their next group game against Black Rock FC>
That set up a winner-takes-all game against the hosts IMG Academy but, despite dominating from start to finish, Brentford could only manage a 1-1 draw.
The draw meant The Bees finished 3rd in their group and qualified for the 5th place final against the USMNT U17s.
That match finished 2-2 meaning that Jon De Souza's finished 5th in the IMG Cup competition.
