The Griffin Park pitch has been covered ahead of Brentford’s Sky Bet League One match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Bees face their fellow promotion-chasers in TW8 on Saturday, February 22.
The Club invested in a set of rain covers for the Griffin Park pitch which arrived last week and they were put across the playing surface by Head Groundsman Nick Baldwin and his team yesterday, Wednesday February 19.
Recent rain which has fallen is sitting on top of the covers and will be removed by a water removal vehicle – better known as a blotter.
The plan is for the pitch to be uncovered tomorrow, Friday February 21, ahead of the match.
The forecast is for West London to be dry from the end of today until kick-off on Saturday.
The pitch was in a playable condition when the covers went on.
