The 2014/15 Football League Trust Futsal season continues this aftermoon.
Brentford FC are represented by the Community Sports Trust Futsal BTEC Scholars (aged 16/17) who started their two-year education and performance programme last month.
The games programme is one facet of the programme, which will see the teenagers earn a Level 3 BTEC in Sport equivalent of up to three A-Levels.
The scholars also have an opportunity to study for an additional A-Level alongside the course plus the chance to achieve coaching qualifications and gain valuable practical work experience with the Trust.
Brentford have two teams competing in the Football League Trust Futsal leagues, the A team in South East Division One and the B team in Division Two.
The A team kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 win over Peterborough United A but were beaten 9-1 by Brighton and Hove Albion A last time out.
They face Chelsea A today in their latest match today.
The B team beat Peterborough United B 5-0 in their first match but lost 4-2 to Norwich City B in their last match at the start of October.
Brentford B play Southend United B this afternoon.
Brentford's games are played at the SportHouse Arena in Barking.
The SportHouse Arena has previously hosted England Futsal internationals plus the FA Futsal Grand National Finals and would be a big test with full size courts to play as opposed to the smaller ones they train on.
