I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Brentford fans a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
I am sure 2014 has been a year that will live long in the memory for all Brentford fans.
It has certainly been one that I will remember.
A year ago I wrote a Christmas message and said I hoped to get to know more about the Club as I had only been here for a few days.
I have discovered a Club that has a fantastic set of fans that are fully behind the players, management and the owner.
I have enjoyed every moment of my first year at Brentford.
To win promotion in the way we did was fantastic and we sit here on Christmas Day third in the Championship, which I am sure brings a smile to every Brentford fans’ face.
Supporters tell me the football played is better than anything they have ever seen and I tell Mark Warburton regularly that he should be proud of that.
You, the fans, have backed the Club in an amazing way since I have been here, both in terms of numbers attending games home and away and the vocal backing you give.
I am sure that will continue in to 2015.
We will continue working with our Academy to ensure the supply of players coming in to the First Team squad is plentiful.
Everyone from top to bottom of this club is pulling in the same direction and big things can be achieved when that is the case.
I look forward to 2015 carrying on from 2014 and I am sure you all do too.
