This afternoon sees the ‘Football Friends’ project which encourages fans over the age of 65 to come together and share their memories of Brentford FC continue. Organised by the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust ‘Football Friends’ will be held in the Griffin Park Learning Zone, formerly the Harris Curtis Room, this afternoon between 1pm and 3pm. Sports fans and those who would like to learn more about Brentford FC are also very welcome to attend this free event.
Supporters will be joined by people who have been connected to this great club over the last few decades to reminisce about The Bees and football in general. There will also be an opportunity to sign up to a fantastic five week programme to share memories and contribute to the Football Friends project. Attendees can also learn how to stay connected online using digital technology with the support from the Barclays Digital Eagles team.
