Brentford has completed the signing of Jens Cajuste from Serie A side Napoli, subject to international clearance.
Cajuste, 25, initially joins on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season; the club has an option make the deal permanent next summer.
The Swede has been with Napoli since August 2023. He made 35 appearances in all competitions last season, including six outings in the UEFA Champions League.

The 6ft 2in central midfielder began his professional career with Örgryte IS in his native Sweden, having progressed through the club’s youth system, and made his senior debut in the Swedish top flight in October 2016.
His performances caught the attention of Danish club Midtjylland, who he joined in June 2018.
Cajuste played 79 games for Midtjylland in all competitions, 52 alongside Bees midfielder Frank Onyeka, and was part of the side that won the 2019/20 Superliga title.
In January 2022, Cajuste signed for French club Reims. He made 42 outings in all competitions and scored six goals, five of which came in Ligue 1, before he made the switch to Napoli.
A Sweden international, Cajuste has represented his country on 23 occasions and went to Euro 2020 with former Brentford captain Pontus Jansson.
