El Hadji Malick Diouf makes his first Premier League start for Brentford in this afternoon’s away game against Aston Villa (3pm kick-off BST).
The Senegal international defender came off the bench in the Bees’ previous two league outings, and also started last month’s Carabao Cup victory at Reading.
Diouf replaces Mikkel Damsgaard, who is not in the squad, in the only change to Keith Andrews’ starting XI from the 3-0 victory against Chelsea just over three weeks ago.
Mathias Jensen and Sepp van den Berg are named amongst the substitutes, with the latter in line to make his first appearance of the season should he feature, having recovered from a groin injury.
They are joined on the bench by goalkeeper Hákon Valdimarsson, who was absent from the aforementioned wins over Reading and Chelsea.
