Jonathan Douglas was picked out for special recognition after Brentford’s 0-0 draw with Walsall last Saturday.
The Bees drew with one of the division’s form teams on a freezing afternoon at Griffin Park.
Brentford had the better of it, they hit the post and had a shot cleared off the line but could not find the winning goal.
They did, however, extend their npower League One run to two defeats in 19 games, a run taken to two in 20 after the win over Crawley Town on Tuesday night.
Jonathan was named in the League One Team of the Week for last Saturday, belatedly announced today.
He was selected in the centre of midfield alongside Stephen McGinn of Shrewsbury Town, who beat Stevenage 2-1.
The 11 players in the Team of the Week came from 10 different teams this week, only Hartlepool United, who beat Scunthorpe United, had two players in.
Crawley, Crewe Alexandra, Milton Keynes Dons, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Sheffield United and Tranmere Rovers joined Brentford and Shrewsbury with one player in each.

It is the first time Jonathan has been selected in the npower League One Team of the Week and he is the eighth Brentford player to have been named.
Clayton Donaldson has been selected four times - firstly after scoring a brace in the win over Crewe Alexandra in August, also after netting two in the 2-1 victory over Crawley and then after scoring two more in a 3-2 win over MK Dons in December.
His last selection was for scoring two in a 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic.
Farid El Alagui, Shaleum Logan and Simon Moore have each been named twice.
Farid after the wins over against Colchester United in September and Crewe in August, Shaleum for his performance in the 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe in October and the January win at Oldham and Simon was selected for his roles in the home and away wins over Oldham.
Four other Brentford players have received Team of the Week accolades - Paul Hayes was named after scoring two in a draw against Hartlepool, Harry Forrester, like Clayton, was selected in the team after the win over MK Dons and Adam Forshaw was given special recognition for his performance in the win against Notts County.
