League leaders Charlton Athletic visit Jersey Road this afternoon in the latest U21 Professional Development League Two South fixture. Monday's match kicks-off at 1pm and spectators are welcome.
The Bees suffered a 3-1 defeat last time out away at Colchester United but have still picked up 18 points from their last eight games to leave them on the brink of the Play-Off places. A win against The Addicks would move Brentford up to second, two points behind Charlton.
However today's task could not be tougher with the South London side in imperious form in recent weeks, winning eight and drawing one of their last nine matches. The Addicks haven't been beaten since late September and have picked up maximum points on their last four outings.
Last season saw the two sides meet twice in four days at the end of the season with Zain Westbrooke's goal earning The Bees a point at The Valley before The Addicks took all three points in a 3-2 win at Jersey Road.
