Andreas Bjelland, Henrik Dalsgaard, and Lasse Vibe were all involved in Denmark’s successful qualifying campaign. Andreas featured six times for his nation, including both legs of their Play-Off win over the Republic of Ireland, while Henrik made five appearances, missing out on the Play-Off victory due to injury. Lasse, who captained Denmark at the 2016 Olympics, was an unused substitute on two occasions.
Should any of the trio be selected for next summer’s tournament they will become the first contracted Brentford players ever to appear at a FIFA World Cup.
Elsewhere in this afternoon’s draw, England were drawn alongside Belgium, Tunisia, and Panama while World Champions Germany will face Mexico, Sweden, and South Korea.
