Brentford booked their place in the Carabao Cup Second Round with a 4-2 win over Southend United last night. The Bees took a first half lead through Marcus Forss and got the win thanks to further goals from Julian Jeanvier, Saïd Benrahma and Kamohelo Mokotjo. Southend had levelled, and pulled it back to 3-2 later in a frenetic second half, but Brentford won through.
