Daniel O'Shaughnessy scored his first international goal as Finland's Under-21s beat San Marino 5-0 in their final Euro 2015 Under-21 Championship Qualifier.
The Finnish needed a heavy win coupled with an England win over Moldova to have any chance of qualifying for the Play-Offs for the tournament.
They got off to the perfect start as Tim Väyrynen put them ahead after eight minutes.
Sauli Väisänen made it 2-0 ahead 25 minutes and that was how it stayed until half-time.
Ten minutes into the second-half Brentford defender Daniel tapped home from close range for his first international goal in five appearances.
Kimmo Hovi and Thomas Lam netted late on to complete the 5-0 win which saw Finland leapfrog Moldova to finish second in their group behind England.
Unfortunately for Daniel and his teammates results elsewhere meant that Finland missed out on the Play-Offs for the tournament in the Czech Republic next summer.
