Daniel O'Shaughnessy played 90 minutes as Finland's Under-21s comfortably beat their Kazak counterparts 3-0 at the Tali Football Hall in Helsinki.
The Fins took a first-half lead through striker Vahid Hambo, dubbed the Finnish Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Hambo added a second ten minutes after the break.
Fredrick Lassas added a third with ten minutes to play as Daniel and his teammates ran out comfortable winners.
Wednesday's appearance was Daniel's sixth for this Finland Under-21s as they build up to the qualification campaign for the 2017 European Under-21 Championships which begins later this year.
Daniel will now travel with his teammates to Luxembourg for the second of their friendlies this international break which takes place this Sunday.
Daniel joined The Bees after spending three years with French side FC Metz.
He was born in Finland but holds dual nationality with the Republic of Ireland.
He began his career with HJK Helsinki and spent time on trial with Liverpool in 2011.
