Motivate Hounslow are looking for Level Two sport coaches to work within their programmes.
Motivate Hounslow is a new sports programme delivered in partnership between the Mo Foundation, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, and Sport Impact.
It is aimed at inspiring local young people aged 14-25 to take up sport and physical activity and to make it part of their weekly routines.
The programme is funded by the National Lottery through a grant awarded by Sport England and supported by Heathrow Community Fund, ISIS Waterside Regeneration, Syon Park, Carillion Parks Management, Hounslow Council and Brentford FC.
The successful candidate will need to have good experience in the following:
- Community Sports Delivery
- Extra-Curricular Sports Clubs
Coaching hours can vary depending on work schedule and availability.
Coaching staff will be delivering sports activities at venues in the most deprived wards in Hounslow with the aim of engaging young people across the Motivate Hounslow project.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ablity to motivate people to join in and sustain sport activities.
Experience of coaching in a wide range of environments including club and community settings and the ability to work efficiently on their own initiative whilst maintaining a high standard of work.
Hold a Valid DBS check (further to a Brentford FC CST DBS check)
Minimum Level Two Coaching Qualification in the following sports – football, futsal, netball, rugby, basketball, tennis, cricket or Dance
Valid Safeguarding Children Certificate
Valid First Aid Certificate
Ideally qualified in a second sport
Holds a current clean driving license and drives regularly
Holds a Valid FA Coaching Licence (or NGB Equivalent)
Lives within the West London area (Ealing, Richmond, Hounslow, Spelthorne, Hillingdon)
