Brentford will be in Denver, Colorado this week as part of the Premier League Mornings Live fan festival, bringing a series of unique activations to supporters and the community during the club’s time in the US.
Hosted at Denver Union Station across both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, Mornings Live is the Premier League’s flagship festival in the United States and delivered in partnership with NBC Sports and USA Sports.
The event gives supporters the opportunity to watch live Premier League matches on big screens – including Brentford’s trip to Aston Villa on Saturday – while also taking part in a wide range of football and entertainment activities.
Brentford’s presence in Denver will focus on creating meaningful connections both with the community and local Bees supporters, building on the club’s growing relationship with fans across the US.
As part of an action-packed and exciting programme of activities planned, Brentford are partnering with Street Soccer USA and principal partner Indeed to deliver a unique free community football event at Skyline Park.
Taking place on Thursday evening, the event will offer young people aged 16 and above an unmissable evening of small-sided competitive play, skills challenges, music, prizes, giveaways and refreshments.
Supporters attending Premier League Mornings Live will also have the chance to test themselves in the Brentford long throw challenge.
Following its successful debut in Tampa Bay last time out, the long throw challenge – inspired by Michael Kayode – has been refreshed for Denver, and fans along with NBC presenters and Premier League legends will be invited to take part to see how they compare.
Part of the Bees contingent in the US will be first-team forward Kaye Furo and club legend and ambassador Marcus Gayle.
Gayle said: “We’re really excited to be heading to Denver for the opportunity to meet so many passionate Brentford and Premier League supporters.
“Brentford has a growing fan base across the US and opportunities like Premier League Mornings Live allow us to connect with supporters in a really meaningful way.
"We want to strengthen those relationships and continue to share more about what makes Brentford and our journey so special.”
Coverage will be shared across the club’s digital and social media channels throughout the club’s time in Denver, giving supporters a behind-the-scenes look at the activities and celebrations taking place during Premier League Mornings Live.
