Brentford FC is celebrating our LGBTQ+ community, as we mark Pride month this June.
At Brentford, we believe football is for everyone. The game we all love should be available to everyone. As a result, our LGBTQ+ skills sessions run by Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will return this summer in partnership with West London Queer Project and new partners Chelsea Community Trust and Fulham FC Foundation.
The LGBTQ+ skills sessions first began in February 2023 giving the LGBTQ+ community and allies a safe space to enjoy playing football.
The sessions are open to people of all abilities, whether they are completely new to football or returning to the game.
The sessions will take place weekly from 6.30pm to 8pm at the Quintin Hogg Memorial Grounds, located on Hartington Road (south side), Chiswick, London, W4 3UP on the following dates throughout June and July on Thursdays:

Inclusion all year round
LGBTQ+ inclusion is important to us all year round.
Pride month provides us with an opportunity to shine a light on our work to be more inclusive towards the LGBTQ+ community, particularly the LGBeeTs, our LGBTQ+ fan group, and celebrate our LGBTQ+ community at Brentford and beyond.
We do not change our logo during this period to be tokenistic or to tick a box; we do it to show our allyship as a club and to send the message to people from the LGBTQ+ community that we support you.
In February, during LGBTQ+ History Month, Christian Nørgaard and Neal Maupay invited members of the LGBeeTs and West London Queer Project to Jersey Road, to better understand their roles as allies and role models.
Earlier this year, we celebrated the eight years of the LGBeeTs, our LGBTQ+ fan group, through a special exhibition at Gtech Community Stadium. This can now be viewed on our website and shows the group’s history through photography, explaining its evolution and how it has grown over the years.
