Brentford Football Club received correspondence from Kick It Out after the Sky Bet League One match against Shrewsbury Town earlier this month.
The Bees played away to Shrewsbury on February 1 and the Club received an email from Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion campaign, a few days after.
Kick It Out were contacted by a Shrewsbury Town fan after the match.
There was an allegation that “directly after Brentford scored a goal a Brentford supporter in the away stand ran towards the pitch making a Nazi salute and mimicking Hitler”.
The person involved was described as “a man in his 20s, wearing a grey jacket or a grey hooded top”.
The incident was not caught on CCTV so the allegation cannot be verified and no further action can be taken.
Although, if any Brentford fan at the match saw the incident and would like to contact the Club, all information will be treated seriously and in the strictest confidence.

Brentford FC would like to remind supporters that they represent the Club when travelling around the country.
The Club is rightly very proud of its supporters who are, almost without exception, excellent in terms of numbers, vocal support and behaviour.
The Club would like to think that all supporters would abhor any behaviour of this kind and help to stamp it out if it is present.
