Chloe Logie was left proud after her hat-trick in the 4-1 win over Richmond Park on Sunday afternoon makes the striker the league’s top scorer.
The 18-year-old put in another outstanding performance for the women’s first team who remain in the race for the league title following the victory against Richmond Park in front of a record crowd of 1,124.
Speaking on the win, Logie said: “I’m buzzing, it took us a while to get going but once we went a goal down we started playing some great football and were really enjoying ourselves.
“In recent games, we have started slowly which is frustrating, but we show how much fight we have as we always seem to come back and get the win, losing in front of a record crowd at Bedfont wasn’t an option.”
The Bees got themselves on level terms on 23 minutes following an early goal from Richmond after Logie set up Freya Worsley who showed excellent composure to tuck the ball into the top left corner from inside the box.
Logie then got her first and put Brentford ahead just after the half-hour mark when the striker ran with the ball for 20 yards before slotting her shot into the bottom right corner in calm fashion.

Talking on her first strike, Logie explained: “It was a great feeling after I scored my first goal, not only did it give us the lead but the noise from the crowd was unbelievable.
“After that goal, I was certain there was still plenty more for me and I was slightly gutted I had to come off even after scoring my hat-trick because I felt I could have got a few more.”
The striker got her second following a goal mouth scramble which saw the ball fall to Logie who tapped her shot home, her hat-trick goal was the best of the bunch as the number nine lobbed the Richmond keeper from 25 yards following a brilliant strike from the teenager.
“It was a great feeling, I was really pleased with my third goal especially, I knew that I hit the ball well as soon as it came off my boot.
“I haven’t scored many from long range this season so for it to come off in a game where there was a large crowd was perfect for me.”
Sunday’s game saw Brentford Women break another attendance record at Bedfont Sports Club for the second year running with Logie believing the supporters played a key part in what was another terrific performance in a Brentford shirt for the number nine.

“I was really up for the game this morning and I just couldn’t wait for kick-off, I feel not only myself, but the whole team thrives in these pressure situations and uses the crowd to our advantage.
“It makes us all so proud to represent such a fantastic club and to see the amount of young girls that come down to watch when we put on these types of events is just amazing, we want to inspire the younger generation.”
Logie’s hat-trick on Sunday takes her to 26 goals for the season with the number nine now leading the league’s goal-scoring charts.
Despite the forward’s undeniable talent, she remains humble and focused on the next challenge for Brentford Women.
“I’m certainly having a good campaign, but I don’t want to get too ahead of myself we’ll have to see how far I can go but at the moment I’m just enjoying my football.
“I love playing for this club and I hope we get to reach the highest levels possible but we still have plenty to do this season.”
