Brentford Football Club ground staff are looking for additional support from experienced volunteer forkers and pitch repairers on match days at Griffin Park. Successful applicants will join Sportsturf maintenance and their team in replacing divots and repairing the pitch after the player's warm-up, at half-time and at full-time. In return, free entry and a pitch-side view of the action are guaranteed.
The Club are seeking people with some experience of looking after turf or working in similar environments.
Operations Manager Alan Walsh said: "We have a really good team here but we could always use additional resource to assist. We are pleased with how the pitch is playing and performing at the moment and post-match repair work is important to keep it in best condition.
“Any extra help would be much appreciated and of course, volunteers get the opportunity to work on the sacred pitch on a match day which I know they enjoy.”
