Brentford Football Club are pleased to announce that Carlsberg-Tetley are the new pouring rights partner at Griffin Park.
The Club announced earlier this summer it would bring the catering operation in-house from the start of the 2012/13 season.
Brentford brought its partnership with Azure Catering, which has been in operation since 2006, to an end following consultation with supporters.
Carlsberg-Tetley products - including Carlsberg Lager, Carlsberg Export, Tetley’s Bitter and Thatcher’s Cider – will be on sale inside Griffin Park from tonight’s game against Yeovil Town.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, said: “We have signed a three-year deal with Carlsberg-Tetley and were delighted to do so.
“They are a company with a history of working in football and they were keen to enter into an agreement with us.
“They have committed to help us improve our outlets around the ground and produce a better experience for all spectators.
“With the support of Carlsberg-Tetley, pricing will be retained at 2011/12 levels and that was also a key factor in our decision.”
The match tonight will also be the first chance Bees fans have to try the Club’s new catering products.
Mark added: “We listened to the fans’ concerns about the catering at Griffin Park and heard their comments about the service, provision and products available.
"I wanted the club to have direct control over its catering operation, which is why we decided to go in-house.
“We made some products available to sample at the Family Open Day and obtained some further feedback, and have made changes to some of the products that will be available following these comments.
"I hope the fans will like what we have available.
“We will be working hard with our staff to improve the speed of service at our kiosks and in The Hive this season.
“Hopefully, we can encourage fans to use the facilities we offer at Griffin Park for their food and drink purchases as much as possible.
“The new catering business will be operated as Griffin Park Catering, but is completely owned by the club, with all the profit from food and drink sold inside Griffin Park now going to the Club.
"It is another important revenue stream for us.
“As the season progresses, if supporters have any comments on our catering operation we would be keen to hear their feedback.”
