Brentford FC’s Futsal teams are in action this afternoon as they take on Southend United in ‘A’ and ‘B’ at SportHouse in Barking, venue of England Futsal internationals.
The ‘A’ team were thwarted with seven seconds to go in their last match against Peterborough United when a free kick was deflected in to deny them a win which would have put the Bees second.
The Shrimpers have struggled this season having conceded 30 goals in four games and are pointless. They have also struggled at the other end of the court netting only four times.
The Bees know that Crawley Town, with two games in hand, and Chelsea, who are finding some form could be the other threats for the Play-Off positions and cannot afford to drop points in this game.
Mason Roseboom returns to the squad for this game so The Bees will have good attaching options.
