The Bees Futsal BTEC Scholars return to the court tomorrow, Wednesday November 26, for match day five of The F.L. Futsal League South East Division.
All the fixtures take place at SportHouse in Barking which has hosted The FA Futsal Grand Finals and numerous England Futsal internationals.
Head Coach Luis Melville, who spent last weekend attending The FA’s Futsal ‘Catalyst For Change’ Conference at St. George’s Park, said: "What’s clear is that Futsal is growing in this country as a sport in its own right and for those involved in football they are now starting to see how it can possibly help develop technically proficient and creative players."
Double Futsal World Cup winning manager Javier Lozano of Spain was on hand to deliver a session and deliver seminars which showed that we are still very much at the start of our Futsal journey giving the attending coaches plenty of food for thought.
With this in mind the Brentford took to the practice court this week with renewed purpose.
This week’s opponents are at the opposite end of the capital with the ‘A’ team playing Leyton Orient who suffered a 2-1 defeat to Peterborough United last time out.
The Os, who are still to record their first win, will not be under-estimated by Brentford who will expect a tough game as The Posh were made to work extremely hard for their win.
The Bees A team are at full strength for this fixture and with second placed Norwich City playing Brighton and Hove Albion, in third, this is a good chance for Brentford to keep the pressure on for one of the automatic play off spots for SE League 1.

• Chelsea v Crawley Town
• Peterborough United v Southend United
The Brentford B team, currently second in League Two head into their fixture against fourth placed Chelsea hoping to follow up on their excellent performance against Brighton a fortnight ago when they secured a point and were only denied the victory by three outstanding saves from the Seagulls keeper.
Luis Melville said: "I’ve been impressed since the Brighton game how the lads have come in and trained extremely hard and now it’s up to them to show the same level of commitment that is going to be required in the game against Chelsea."
With two injuries last time The Bees go to Barking with a full complement of players and will look to cement that second place in SE League Two with one more fixture after this game prior to the Christmas break.
