Anthony Hayes' first game in charge of Brentford's Youth Team ended in a convincing win over Leeds United at Jersey Road.
Jeremy Steele left The Bees earlier this week leaving Anthony to prepare for United's Under 18 Professional Development League Two South visit on Saturday morning.
Any fears over whether the change in management would affect the Youth Team were allayed as Tom Field put The Bees ahead after four minutes.
Bradley Clayton doubled the advantage just before half-time although United pulled one back from the spot through Tyla Bell 12 minutes into the second-half.
Clayton restored The Bees two goal cushion six minutes later and Reece Cole put the result beyond any doubt with a fantastic strike from distance late on.
Off the back of last Saturday's 3-0 defeat away at Huddersfield Town The Bees made six changes with only Seth Owens, Gradi Milenge, Zain Westbrooke, Cole and Clayton retaining their starting spot.
Leeds could have taken the lead within seconds of kick off but Nik Tzanev made a fine save to deny Tom Lyman from the edge of the box.
Cole whipped a shot over from the edge of the box and 60 seconds later it was 1-0 as great build up by Courtney Senior and Kingsley Eshun freed Field and he finished calmly past Barley Peacock-Farrell from 12 yards.
The Bees were irrepressible in the opening stages as Zain Westbrooke fired straight at Peacock-Farrell, Kyjuon Marsh-Brown saw an effort blocked away by the knees of the Leeds keeper and Clayton also shot straight at Peacock-Farrell.
The Whites had out battled Brentford to win 4-1 in the corresponding fixture last April but the speed at which The Bees were moving the ball meant Leeds couldn't get any significant foothold in the game.
Leeds were under the cosh but in Bell had a striker capable of creating something on his own and he kept Tzanev alert with a long-range effort before seeing a shot blocked behind and shooting wide following a good run at the heart of The Bees defence.
It looked like for all their dominance Brentford would only lead by a single strike at the break but Clayton had other ideas as he timed his run to perfection, beat the offside trap and rolled Marsh-Brown's inch perfect through ball under Peacock-Farrell and into the back of the net.
The second-half started in the same fashion as the first-half had ended as Cole nearly scored direct from the kick-off while Senior's shot was deflected behind and Eshun headed over unmarked from eight yards.
At only 2-0 there was always the danger Leeds could get back into the game with a moment of brilliance or a mistake and that was as it proved as Bell tumbled dramatically in the box under a challenge from Marsh-Brown and the Leeds striker picked himself up to slam home from 12 yards.
That setback didn't deter The Bees and they re-established their two-goal lead four minutes later as a deep Jeremiah Kamanzi cross found its way to Clayton and he held off Jack Vann to poke home from eight yards.
The third goal settled Brentford back into their passing rhythm and with Cole and Westbrooke switching play and keeping possession in the middle Leeds saw very little of the ball as the second-half went on.
However The Bees were indebted to Nik Tzanev for keeping their two goal lead intact as he brilliantly turned away a fierce Lyman shot from 12 yards before Lyman turned the rebound wide from 10 yards.
Kamanzi nearly made it four but he saw his header somehow turned over the bar on the line by Michael Taylor's shin.
If Taylor didn't know much about his clearance from Kamanzi then Peacock-Farrell knew even less as Senior's close range volley cannoned off his knees and away to safety.
It looked only a matter of time until a fourth goal arrived and when it did arrive it was one to savour as Cole found the top corner from 25 yards with an arrow of a right footed shot.
Leeds kept pressing forward but could only fashion one chance in the remaining quarter of an hour as Malik Wilks' shot from inside the D bounced off the outside of the post and behind to safety.
Westbrooke was denied adding a fifth by Peacock-Farrell while Cole saw a shot blocked by Vann and, with the final action of the match, Peacock-Farrell preventing Senior grabbing the goal his bright performance deserved with another smart save.
