Brentford's Youth Team beat Black Rock FC 1-0 last night to set up a potential winner takes all match against the IMG Academy in Florida on Saturday night.
After Wednesday's 3-0 defeat to Stevenage The Bees knew defeat against the American side would give them no hope of qualifying.
However a James Ferry penalty settled matters in Brentford's favour meaning they join the hosts IMG Academy and Stevenage on three points after their second game.
IMG Academy have a game in hand on both the English sides which they play at 8pm tonight against Black Rock FC before they face The Bees at 12 30am UK time on Sunday morning.
