Brentford Women began their new season in the Greater London Women's Football League in inspired fashion by winning 9-0 against Hemel Hampstead.
The Bees, playing their first game after promotion, came storming out of the blocks early on when Dana Johnson raced through to lob the on rushing goalkeper.
Two minutes later Lavana Neufville received the ball 20 yards outside of the box, ghosted past two defenders and struck to double the lead for the home side.
Hemel Hempstead struggled to deal with the pace of Brentford who constantly looked a threat when going forward.
Shortly after Neufville double proceedings, she combined with Johnson who slid through Ashley Cheatley for a third.
Cheatley doubled her tally shortly after and the Bees were in total control at this stage of the game.
Johnson who worked tirelessly up front with her strike partner doubled her goal tally to make it 5-0 to Brentford before playing through Cheatley for her hat-trick.
Brentford Women were in inspired form and their quick combination play in the middle of the pitch was then rewarded with another goal when Vicky James, the Bees captain, scored the pick of the goals with a 30 yard pile driver that looped over the goalkeeper and into the net.
That sent The Bees in at the break 7-0 up.
Hemel Hempstead returned in the second half with plenty of fight and pushed on to grab a goal early however Brentford's defence answered all of the questions that were asked of them.
Neufville, who was a constant thorn to the oppositions defence grabbed her second of the game when substitute, Sophie Troth, came on to play an exquisite through ball for Neufille to latch onto and slide past the goalkeeper.
Another substitute Lucy Easton proved her worth when she came on by grabbing the Bees' ninth of the game with a piledrive from 25 yards.
Brentford now play in the London and South East Regional Women's Football League London Division and are top after the first game.
Brentford continue their new campaign next week Sunday against AFC Phoenix, who similar to the Bees, are newly promoted.
