Brentford Women will open their Trophy Cup campaign on Sunday as they travel to Holmesdale Football Club to face Welling United (1.30pm kick-off).
The Bees will be looking to rebound with a win after they were bundled out of the League Cup last weekend by Dulwich Hamlet Reserves.
Chloe Logie was a shining light in the loss, the star striker scoring a hat-trick in less than 10 minutes after coming off the bench for Karleigh Osborne’s side.
Having played nearly a completely new starting XI at the weekend from the group that faced Southampton Women in the FA Cup, Osborne will be hoping for a strong performance as he welcomes back a handful of regular starters on Sunday.
Last time out
Brentford’s League Cup campaign came to an end last time out, losing to Dulwich Hamlet Reserves 5-3 at Dulwich Health Club.
The Bees trailed 2-0 at half-time and let the deficit climb to 5-0 during the second half, before Logie entered the frame and scored three quickfire goals to make it 5-3.
Aya Mirjan, Ashley Arquette, Nour Aboul Khier, Chloe Webb, Jodie Reid, Lucy Bolitho, Ellen Wardlaw, Eleonora Cottrell, Mollie Dench and Maddie Heavingham-Ford each banked valuable minutes in the loss, which will only strengthen the Bees as they move forward in their season.

Brentford Women B return to Greater London Division One North action when they travel to Enfield Playing Fields to face Enfield Town Development (2.15pm kick-off).
The B team’s winning streak has continued to roll on since a 1-1 draw with East London Ladies in late September, now at nine-straight victories.
A win on Sunday would lift the B team back to the top of the table, overtaking Impact who currently sit equal with Brentford on 28 points, having played one extra game.
Last time out
Following 9-0 and 7-0 victories against Actonians Thirds and Hilltop Women respectively, Brentford faced a tougher battle last time out, prevailing over Civil Service Women 3-2 in JGMT action.
Holly Hawkes starred up front again, finishing with a hat-trick, which followed on from her five-goal effort against Actonians Thirds.
